Wake-Up Time Calculator
Enter when you plan to go to bed and calculate several possible wake-up times using adjustable cycle-length and fall-asleep estimates.
What time could you wake up?
The calculator adds your estimated fall-asleep time to bedtime and then counts forward through several possible sleep-cycle counts. Results are scheduling estimates rather than predictions of your actual sleep stage.
Bedtime plus sleep onset and cycles
For each result, the calculator adds the fall-asleep buffer and 3–6 estimated cycles to the bedtime you enter. The default cycle is 90 minutes but can be adjusted between 80 and 100 minutes.
Sleep timing is an estimate. A clock-based calculator cannot measure your actual sleep stage or sleep quality.
How to use this calculator
- 1
Enter the time you plan to go to bed.
- 2
Adjust fall-asleep time or estimated cycle length if useful.
- 3
Compare the calculated wake-up times and estimated sleep durations.
Wake-Up Time Calculator FAQ
Does a calculated wake time guarantee I will wake during light sleep?
No. A clock calculator cannot measure your actual sleep stage.
What if I go to bed after midnight?
The calculator works with local clock time and automatically wraps calculated wake-up times into the following day where needed.
Can I change the 15-minute fall-asleep assumption?
Yes. You can change it from zero to 60 minutes.
